As the name suggests, Royce Howland Print Studio was founded by Royce Howland. Royce is a fine art photographer and master digital print-maker based in Calgary, Alberta. Here at the studio, we do our best to be open, welcoming and inclusive, working with photographers, artists and anyone who needs and appreciates great prints. Each element of our workflow is designed to promote quality; each service we offer is something where we believe we can add value in making and presenting great prints.
We work with clients across a wide range of skill levels and experiences in print, from beginner to expert. In addition to being very accomplished at what we do, we also have an educational orientation when needed. We don’t believe in secrets or shrouding our practice in mystery. As a result, we’re quite happy to provide insights and expertise to help our clients become better at image making, if they wish, which in turn improves the print making.
Prints made at the studio can be found in venues ranging from prominent public and commercial galleries, to private and corporate collections, to the homes and personal portfolios of the photographers and artists who created the original works.
